Summer 2016 Recap

Now more than half way through 2016, its about time I got around to a post here. Needless to say, it's been a busy 2016, full of new (secret) writing projects in the works, exciting professional work at EA, a new book release, convention appearances, and more.

Among the coolest happenings of 2016 was the release of my latest DK book, LEGO Star Wars Chronicles of the Force. This fact and figure-packed visual guide covers the wacky history of LEGO Star Wars and even includes quite a bit of information about the sets released for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If you aren't into reading about LEGO Star Wars, there is an exclusive minifigure included with the book, making it well worth the cover price.

The other major writing project I worked on this year is the Commemorative Guide for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016. It's a full color guide to the show and also includes exclusive content, articles, photos from upcoming films, and more. Unfortunately, the guide sold out at the show... even I couldn't get one!  But keep an eye out for next year's guide....

Speaking of Celebration, the London show came and went way too fast. It was great meeting many of you on one of my three panels, at the DK stand for autograph signings, or just around the show.

Before I knew it, I was off to San Diego Comic Con to do it all again. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Star Wars books booth each day during my book signings.

And while I'm here, I might as well recap two (sweaty) events from earlier this year. Thanks to the folks at runDisney, I ran TWO half marathons (plus some 5ks and 10k races) at the Disney Parks. The full recap of those events can be found at StarWars.com.
