In August of this year, I was comisioned to build a blue R2-D2 dome for a builder in the United States. His military service wouldn't allow him to meet his building goal without a little help, so we worked out a deal where I would do most of the work on his new 300mm dome. He sent me all of the parts except the radar eye, and I put it all together. I'm really pleased with how it came out. The finish on the dome is great, and required no sanding at all. Right from the spinner it had great shine. With a little weathering, its going to look even better. The paint is Krider Blue. The HPs and logics came from Azman Sugi.
