Fans Help Create the Latest Life Size 'Star Wars' Statue: Sideshow's Boba Fett

It feels like forever since a life size Star Wars statue has been release, but that's about to change: Sideshow has announced their life-size Boba Fett statue.  If you are at San Diego ComicCon, you can see the prototype on display now.

As if Boba Fett wasn't cool enough, the statue is even cooler because of the team that created it.  Tom Spina, the prop and costume guru behind many of the characters seen in the VW Cantina Super Bowl spot lead the creation of the statue, which looks pretty darn impressive.  With him were more members of The Dented Helmet, the world's foremost Boba Fett costuming community.  Giving credit where credit is due, Tom gives the full list of talented folks who helped create the statue over at the RPF.
